I like quotes, they remind us of the truths we tend to forget:

"Healing is not about going back to how things wereit’s about becoming who you are meant to be.”

It’s now been three weeks since my treatment ended, and I’m feeling thankful for where I am today. The road hasn’t been easy, but every day brings small moments of progress and gratitude.

How I’m Feeling

So far, I’ve had only mild side effects — a bit of nausea and a few skin rashes, which I’ve been able to manage well. My hair has started to fall out, but I’m at peace with it. Hair grows back — health and healing come first.

A small blister appeared on my upper arm recently, but it’s not sore or worrying. My medical team is keeping a close eye on everything. My blood counts are still up and down, which is normal after treatment, and I’m hoping for signs of stabilisation next week so we can move forward with a bone marrow test to see how the treatment worked.

Staying Positive

There are days I really miss home — cooking, preparing meals, and the rhythm of everyday life.

But I believe in seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and hold an image, strongly in my heart: sitting outdoors with my family, sharing a beautiful meal together. That thought brings me comfort and keeps me motivated.

In the meantime, I continue to support my body with small, nurturing choices — gentle walks, antioxidant-rich berries, my daily smoothies, and comforting bone broth soups.

These simple rituals remind me that healing happens one day, one meal, one breath at a time.

Turning Healing Into Purpose

Out of this experience, something meaningful has grown. I’ve created a 30-Day Resilience Journal, inspired by what I’ve learned through this journey — about patience, strength, and self-compassion.

I’m also preparing an eBook to share my reflections and tools for staying grounded through life’s challenges.

Even when life changes direction, there’s always something valuable to be gained — a new perspective, a deeper appreciation, a chance to help others.

💛

Thank you for walikng beside me on this path. Healing is not a straight line, but every small step counts.
