When I first started this midsection journey, my focus was on toning, fasting, and building strength. Over the past few weeks, though, life took a very different turn.

What Fasting Revealed

Through intermittent fasting, I started noticing unusual changes—feeling weaker, my immune system not responding as it should, and just not feeling “myself.” I decided to see my doctor, and after further tests, I learned that my blood counts were very low. More investigations revealed a diagnosis of Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), a blood disorder.

Hitting Pause

This news meant I had to abandon intermittent fasting and let go of my original plan. Instead, I’m now following strict medical guidance. While this wasn’t the path I expected, I know that right now the best way to honor my body is to focus on treatment and healing.

A New Perspective

This journey has taught me that sometimes our health goals take a back seat to what our body truly needs. For me, that means shifting from fasting and workouts to rest, nourishment, and medical care.

I share this not for sympathy, but to remind anyone reading:

Listen to your body.

Don’t ignore the signs.

Your health is the foundation of everything else.

Moving Forward

My journey now looks different, but it’s still a journey of strength—just in another form. I’ll continue to share updates, not just about fitness, but about resilience, healing, and the mindset it takes to keep moving forward when life throws the unexpected at you.

💛 Thank you for following along. Your support means more than you know.
